Solar Wire Calculator is a local-first app. All wire sizing calculations run entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any server.

Your calculation history
Your name, email, or any personal identifiers
Your location

What We Collect

We collect minimal, anonymous usage data to improve the app:

App events: Anonymous counts of actions (e.g., a calculation was performed). These contain no personal data — only that an action occurred.
Crash reports: If the app crashes, we receive an anonymous error report. This contains no personal data.

This data cannot be linked to you as an individual. There are no user accounts, no login, and no tracking cookies.

Data Storage

All calculation history and user preferences are stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, your data is permanently deleted. We have no backup of your data because we never had access to it.

In-App Purchases

Pro features (Solar DC, Marine, and Industrial modes) are purchased through Apple's App Store as a one-time purchase. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information.

Third-Party Services

Apple App Store: Handles downloads and payments. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
RevenueCat: Manages in-app purchase status. Receives only an anonymous app user ID. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

Solar Wire Calculator does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app does not require an account and collects no personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
